Celebrate 100 Years in the VFL/AFL: Western Bulldogs 100yr Wool Guernsey Sleeveless

The Western Bulldogs 100 Year Wool Guernsey is a throwback to the club's early years in the VFL, celebrating the Bulldogs' journey in the competition. This woollen guernsey draws inspiration from the Footscray guernsey worn between 1925-1934, bringing back the traditional look of the club's early days. The guernsey features a classic collared design with a button-up collar for a vintage look. It incorporates traditional Bulldogs hoops, and wool material, mirroring the club’s early days. 

The Western Bulldogs 100 Year Wool Guernsey Long Sleeve also features an inner neck tag that highlights the club’s illustrious premierships across the VFL, AFL, and AFLW, as well as past Brownlow Medalists. The tag also includes the 100-year commemorative logo, adding a special touch of history.

This limited-edition guernsey is one of only 250 available, with the number sequence assigned at random, as requests for specific numbers cannot be accommodated.

The Bulldog symbol has been ingrained in the Club’s long history and though it has been visualised in many forms over the years, it epitomises the character and spirit of the Club, its players and supporters.

As part of the Club's 100th year in the VFL/AFL celebrations, a commemorative logo was unveiled to replace the existing logo for 2025. Bringing together designs across the Club's history, it will feature on AFL and AFLW playing guernseys, licensed products and the Club's digital platforms throughout the season.

Formally introduced in the 1920s, the ‘full bodied’ Bulldog appeared within the Club’s emblem for over half a century until the 1980s. Logos containing just the head of a Bulldog followed until the Club rebranded in 2015, reintroducing the dog within a contemporary shield.
